To start the project, I sketched the letters by hand to see how the letters fit together in pencil and sharpie. I let whatever came to my mind on the paper.
I then took my drawings and sketched them on the computer using ten assigned fonts, 5 serif and 5 sans-serif.
After receiving feedback from my peers and professor, I narrowed it down to my top 4 strongest letterforms. After taking a look at all of them, I chose the final letterform below as both letters were equal at first glance.
